Kigali, September 2020: Today Airtel Rwanda launched a program to double the internet for anyone who buys a new Tecno  spark 5 pro Smartphone and uses  Airtel  network for a period of 3 months.

The program aims to reduce inequality among technology users in the country, especially in these times where buying internet is still expensive for many. Airtel Rwanda aims to make a difference that provides affordable internet to all. 

As part of the program, Airtel has also partnered with TECNO, which is the world's leading mobile phone company in Rwanda. In this partnership, customers will be able to purchase a TECNO Camon 16 Series or TECNO Spark 5 pro at the TECNO store or an Airtel branch anywhere in the country and will be double the purchase of their new Symphony for 3 months and receive GB7 during purchased from Airtel. 

For example, a customer who buys a frw 10,000 monthly online gives him GB30, he will get GB60 plus GB7. This means that the customer will immediately receive GB67. Commenting on the collaboration, Airtel Rwanda CEO Amit Chawla said: As proponents of this change, we, like Airtel, have made significant investments in technology and the establishment of a network that strives to provide better internet access to symphony users in Rwanda. This interaction will bring about a change in the value and value of the customers. ”

In order for customers to enjoy the program, they will only be required to dial * 407 # and start using it as soon as they insert the Airtel card for the first time and follow the instructions. They will then dial * 255 * 2 # to buy their first pack and double them immediately .

On Friday, October 22, 2021, Airtel Rwanda in partnership with Ferwacotamo has given Motorcyclist’s in Kigali new Jacket and encourage them to use cashless digital Payment option through Airtel Money . Airtel Rwanda and Ferwacotamo have been working together for 5 years ago and today there was given Motorcyclist’s New Jackets . In a message to motorcyclist’s from Airtel Rwanda as member of the Federation ,they calling on all to be paid through Airtel Money , passengers can send money to motorists for free ,Airtel Rwanda has given them Airtel Sim cards and registered with in Airtel Money .
